Every year, May and June pass by in a whirlwind of activity. The amount of time management and creativity required to get everyone to all their scheduled activities is daunting, but we always manage to pull it off. Here are some highlights:
Caleb and Adelina's Saturday morning breakfast buffet has continued going strong. They've prepared omelets, quick breads, and a variety of egg dishes. They always brew a pot of coffee and set a pretty table.
We had a great visit with the Raleigh Robinson crew in early May. The cousins enjoyed time together, we took in lots of baseball, and of course ate lots of good food.
May also marks the end of the NEC academic year. Caleb has to prepare for a evaluation and a recital during the middle weeks of May. It's always a stressful time for him, but he passed with honors and has been enjoying a less structured approach to music over the summer.
We had lots of baseball games to attend during May and June, yet I have no good pictures! Levi had the opportunity to play a couple of "kid pitch" games after being "called up" as a substitute. Of course, he enjoyed every second of play.
Caleb finally broke the 20:00 5K mark in early June. It was one of the few races I've seen him truly happy at the finish and he celebrated as he crossed the line!
