Lovely October Weekend

We had a perfect Fall weekend last week, complete with great weather and lots of fun outdoor activities. I had my last long (12 mile) training run before my half marathon on Saturday and Randy and the kids were out in force to cheer me on. Here they are at a park waiting for me to reach mile 10. 

 On Saturday afternoon we went to Cider Hill Farm to pick out some pumpkins for Halloween. Per usual, we got a bunch of pumpkins--some for carving and some for baking!

 On Sunday we went into Cambridge/Boston so that the kids go to some biking and playground hopping. The camera has not been getting very much action of late, so we made up for lost time! I think the kids are all looking quite grown up in these pictures.

Silly Levi

Levi continues to make us laugh all the time. He's trying to talk more and more and says and does the funniest things. 

Here he is trying to mimic what Adelina does from her gymnastics class.

This is a chat about where Caleb and Randy go every morning. 

Levi now insists on feeding himself everything....even yogurt. This is what results. 

 A little cuddle with Oscar....nothing makes Levi happier.

Uncle Dan's Visit

We had the pleasure of hosting Uncle Dan this week for his first visit since Adelina was a newborn. The kids were so excited (as were Randy and I) to have him here. We expected for Caleb and Uncle Dan to have a connection based on their common interests, but were pleasantly surprised at how much Adelina wanted to spend time with him. Dan was a great sport and spent many hours playing kitchen, doll house, blocks, or anything that the kids wanted to do. He got to see Lina do gymnastics, see everyone's school, and observe all the chaos of our daily lives! On Tuesday, I took Lina and Levi out of the house so that Caleb and Dan could have some time together. When I got home, Dan had drawn a huge map of the atmosphere for Caleb...good stuff!It was such a nice trip for everyone!
