We've had a bit of a stressful week, with Caleb being sick and the typical life with a newborn. But we've also had some good times and have been enjoying the approaching spring and warmer temperatures. Last Saturday we took the kids for a long walk in the cemetery and in the so-called "deep dark woods" across the street. Lina was worn out by the time we left the woods, and was asleep minutes after getting into the stroller.
We've been treated with lots of food from our friends since Levi has been born. Here's Caleb enjoying minestrone made by Alison.

He's grown a lot since his birth. We've got another week until his 4 week well visit and I can't wait to see how much he weighs! He's nursing very well and very often. Randy's been calling him my boob-tumor...just look at those chubby cheeks!
Caleb has been since since Sunday afternoon, but finally seems to be on the mend. He's had a fever and a cough and a very strange rash on his face that has stumped his doctor. He tested positive for strep throat yesterday, so he's now being treated for that. Poor little guy has had a rough week and has been very sad to miss school. Today he was inspired by watching his favorite "Peep and the Big Wide World" and wanted to repeat some of the experiments he saw. We dyed water with food coloring and then watched what happened when the sun shined through the water.

Happy to see his mostly cleared-up happy face.
