Music 101 Ensemble Recital

Today we attended our second Music 101 Ensemble Recital. This recital was extra special because not only was Caleb performing in three different groups, Adelina had her debut performance! The recital began with Caleb, Dante, and their teacher (and Dante's mom) Tanya playing The Stars and Stripes Forever.

Next, Adelina and partner Skylar (The Dancing Duo) performed four pieces. The camera got away from Randy a little towards the end of the video. The girls did a great job playing together and listening to one another.

Caleb and Dante returned to the piano as the Presto Duo. They first performed a Rondo by Mozart.

Their next piece was Let it Be by the Beatles.

The recital finished up with three selections by the Los Classicos String Quartet. The first piece was an Andate by Leopold Mozart.

The second piece was Air by Handel.

Lastly, they performed Clocks by Coldplay. This piece was particularly impressive as Caleb didn't have any sheet music for this piece. He worked with Tanya to arrange his part as they learned the piece as a group. I think it was my favorite piece by the Quartet.
